Kimberly and the kids and I visited my Dad and my sister Jean in LA. We had a great time. Both Dad and Jean were unreasonably patient, and great with the kids. Claire got to drive a little "race car" down at the Santa Monica Pier. Luke got to play with a fun rat at Peter Banks' house in Ojai. The kids enjoyed opening Christmas gifts with Auntie Jean. And we got to dip our toes in the water at Santa Monica beach on Christmas Eve.

Great pictures! Luke really seems to like that rat. It turns out rats aren't that expensive. I think I know what I'll be getting Luke for his birthday!
